# Shape your requests (Fulfil API)

Shape Fulfil requests through MindCloud's Universal API. Authenticate with a MindCloud API Key as a Bearer token.

## Request shape

Send every action with POST. Put action fields in the JSON body under `arguments`. Put response controls in the same body.

Responses use one envelope: `success`, rows in a `data` array, and optional `meta`. Errors return `success: false` with a stable `code` and a `message`.

## Universal API controls

| Control | Purpose |
| --- | --- |
| `connectionId` | Optional public connection id in the JSON body. The API selects the default or only valid connection when omitted. |
| `fields` | Comma-separated response field selection in the JSON body. |
