Cirra in Slack: delegate the work between your business apps

Mention @Cirra in Slack to research questions, analyze connected data, create tasks and update records across 3,400+ apps, from the conversation your team is already having.

Cirra in Slack — your next business task starts with @Cirra

Your team already talks about the work in Slack. Getting it done usually means leaving: opening the CRM to find the customer, the accounting tool to check the numbers and the project tool to create the tasks, then coming back to report what you found.

Cirra, MindCloud's AI agent for work, now works inside Slack, so that work can happen in the conversation where it came up. Mention @Cirra in a channel or send it a direct message, give it the task and the context, and it works across your connected apps to carry it out and brings the answer back to the thread. It reaches 3,400+ apps and 76,000+ actions, so a request doesn't stop at the first system a chat assistant can't reach.

Move work across apps

One request can search the web, pull data from your apps, run the analysis and take actions, all as one task. What it can see and change depends on the connections you've authorized and your permissions. Some requests to try:

  • "Find open deals with no recent activity and create follow-up tasks for their owners."

  • "Gather this customer's latest notes and summarize the outstanding issues."

  • "Compare these records across our connected systems and flag the differences."

  • "Research these competitors and summarize what matters to our sales team."

Turn questions into dashboards

It analyzes data from your connected apps, runs the calculations and produces charts and files you can open in Cirra. When the team needs a dashboard it can come back to, describe it in Slack: it creates a Cirra Analytics page, builds it in the background and replies with a link, so you can follow its progress in Cirra. Analytics pages can also be delivered to a Slack channel on a schedule, so the weekly numbers arrive where the team already discusses them.

Keep work moving in the thread

In a channel, it replies in a thread under your request; in a direct message, it replies right there. When you ask inside a thread, it reads the earlier messages, so you don't have to repeat the context, and you can attach an image such as a screenshot of a report with your request. While it works, you can reply to add instructions or change direction. When the answer gets long, or you want the files and the detail, open the same conversation in Cirra and carry on there.

It works through your account, with your approvals

It acts through your own linked Cirra account and the app connections you've authorized, so it reaches only what you've connected. If a connection is missing, it sends you a private link to connect the app securely. When your settings require approval for an action, it asks you to review it first: in a direct message you approve with a button, and from a shared channel the approval opens privately in Cirra. Every change it makes is recorded in an audit trail.

What it doesn't do yet

It works when someone asks. It doesn't watch channels and start work on its own, and it doesn't yet start work when something happens in another app. Schedules and workflows are set up in Cirra itself rather than from the Slack chat. In Slack it reads images (JPEG, PNG, GIF and WebP, up to 20 MB) but not PDFs or other documents yet, so send a screenshot of the page that matters. In Slack Connect channels shared with another company, it won't run the request and asks you to send it in a direct message instead, so your data stays inside your workspace.

Add it to your workspace

Slack is included in every Cirra plan. An admin on your Cirra account adds it once, either from the button below or in Cirra under Admin, then Platforms, then Slack. After that, each teammate links their own Cirra account the first time they message @Cirra, which is how it knows whose connections and permissions to use.
