Connect Epicor Prophet 21 to Salesforce
Epicor Prophet 21 holds every quote, order and invoice. Here's how MindCloud syncs that history into Salesforce so reps see the whole account.

Epicor Prophet 21 holds the account history: every quote, order and invoice. Salesforce is where your reps work. When the two don't talk, reps log into the ERP, call the office, or walk into a meeting without the full picture.
MindCloud now connects Epicor Prophet 21 to Salesforce. This guide covers what syncs, how the integration works, and what to decide before you start.
Why connect Prophet 21 to Salesforce?
Prophet 21 is built for distributors. It runs quoting, orders, inventory and invoicing. Salesforce runs the pipeline. Most distributors need both, and most keep them apart.
That gap shows up every day:
A rep can't see what a customer ordered last month without asking someone with ERP access.
Account records drift, because customers are created and edited in two places.
Sales managers forecast from opportunities, not from what customers actually bought and were invoiced for.
Connecting the two closes that gap. Prophet 21 stays the system of record. Salesforce shows reps what it knows.
What syncs from Prophet 21 to Salesforce
MindCloud syncs the Prophet 21 records your sales team needs:
Customers, as Salesforce accounts
Quotes, so reps see what's open
Orders, so reps see what customers bought
Invoices, down to the line items
You choose the records and the fields. Most teams don't need everything in the ERP. A common place to start is customers and invoices with their line items, then quotes and orders once that's running.
How the integration works
Connect Prophet 21. You authorize MindCloud with your Prophet 21 API credentials. MindCloud reads from Prophet 21 through its API rather than a direct database connection.
Choose what to sync. You decide which records move and which fields reps need on each one.
Map the fields. Prophet 21 customers map to Salesforce accounts. Quotes, orders and invoices map to the Salesforce objects your team already uses, standard or custom. Formats are transformed where the two systems differ, with validation and defaults set in the workflow.
Sync on a schedule. The sync runs as often as you need, from a few times a day to more frequent updates.
Catch exceptions. A record that fails to sync stays visible in Gravity, MindCloud's integration platform, where it can be corrected and replayed.
One direction, on purpose
The integration reads from Prophet 21 and writes to Salesforce. Your ERP stays the source of truth for customers, pricing, orders and invoices, and nothing in Salesforce changes it. Reps get the full account history, and finance keeps one set of books.
Built and run by MindCloud
You don't have to build this yourself. MindCloud scopes the integration with your team, builds it, tests it, launches it and maintains it as Prophet 21 and Salesforce change. You bring the requirements and system access. We handle the mapping, the edge cases and the upkeep.
Before you start: a short checklist
Prophet 21 API access. Confirm you have API credentials for your Prophet 21 environment.
The fields reps need. List what a rep should see on an account: open quotes, recent orders, invoice totals, line items.
Your Salesforce objects. Decide where quotes, orders and invoices live in Salesforce, standard objects or custom ones.
Refresh frequency. Decide how fresh the data needs to be. Many sales teams don't need real time.
An owner for exceptions. Name who reviews a record that doesn't sync.
See the integration on the Prophet 21 integrations page, or tell us about your setup.
