Embedded SDK Overview

Use the Embedded Client SDK to build an integrations page for your customers.

The Embedded SDK adds connection and integration controls to your product. It lists the integrations you have configured, opens a MindCloud modal for end-user authentication, and lets a customer install or manage an integration.

A typical integrations page does four things:

Your backend creates an end user once and stores the MindCloud ID.
Your backend gets that end user's token for the signed-in customer.
Your frontend loads the SDK and sets the token.
Your frontend lists integrations and opens the modal.

An integration is the app or workflow configuration you publish. An installation is one end user's instance of it. Keep the installation ID when the customer needs to reopen or reconnect that instance. One end user can have several installations.
