What is MindCloud Embedded?

MindCloud Embedded is an Embedded Integration Platform as a Service (Embedded iPaaS) that lets SaaS companies offer native, in-app integrations to their users. Behind the scenes, MindCloud manages OAuth, redirects, credential management, field mapping, batching, and rate limiting so your team can focus on your core product.

What’s the difference between an embedded iPaaS and a traditional iPaaS?

What is a “workflow” in MindCloud?

A workflow is a sequence of steps that moves data or triggers actions between apps. It has a trigger (event/schedule/webhook) and one or more actions (destinations).

Example: When a new order is created in Shopify (trigger), create a Sales Order in NetSuite and send a Slack notification (actions).

Can we fully white-label the experience?

Yes. The integrations UI is fully white-labeled—your branding, your product. Users never have to leave your app or see a third-party tool.

How does MindCloud Embedded work?

You embed our Client SDK to render a branded integrations modal directly inside your app. Your team defines which integrations and workflows are available in the MindCloud dashboard. When an end user installs an integration, MindCloud securely orchestrates the workflow between your system and the third-party app using the user’s own credentials.

Front end: SDK provides the UI and handles user auth flows.

Back end: MindCloud runs workflows, handles retries, errors, and data mapping.

Your control: You choose which integrations to offer and how they behave.

How secure is MindCloud Embedded?

Your team remains in control of credentials via the Credential Exchange model.

What is the Credential Exchange and why is it needed?

Credential Exchange is how MindCloud securely obtains your app’s credentials for a specific end user when a workflow runs—without storing them.

MindCloud calls your exchange endpoint with: integrationId, installationId, endUserId.

Your endpoint returns the scoped credential (e.g., an API key or token) MindCloud needs to call your APIs for that user.

Optional request signing lets you verify every call came from MindCloud.

How do I build my first integration?

In the Embedded section of your MindCloud dashboard, click Create Integration and select the third-party app.

Add workflows: Create New or Add Existing from your account.

Use Edit Test Credentials to connect real APIs and validate your flows.

Publish and toggle to Active. Your users will now see it inside your app.

Who are “ISVs” and “end users” in this setup?

ISV: You—the SaaS provider embedding MindCloud. You choose which integrations and workflows to offer.

End User: Your customer. They authenticate their own accounts and install the integrations they need within your app.

What happens when APIs change or tokens expire?

MindCloud automatically manages API changes, re-authentication flows, rate limits, batching, and error retries. Your team avoids ongoing connector maintenance and brittle code paths.

How is pricing structured?
